Hester van Eeghen campaign photography marked Michiel Spijkers' first real move into fashion photography

Commissioned through an agency now known as LMNLP, with full creative freedom from both the agency and the brand, the series leans into bold colour and graphic composition, sharpened further by a modern post-production pass.

Model in a magenta suit sits on stone steps, holding a matching pink bag.
A blue bag hangs from a yellow tripod stand on cobblestone ground.
Back view of a model in green carrying a burgundy backpack-style bag.
Close-up of a structured orange handbag against a plain grey-blue background.
A single orange bag is shot in close-up against a plain red-orange background.
Two bags, one teal and one orange, rest side by side on a stone ledge.
Model in a yellow skirt and navy top holds a matching bag against a stone wall.
A pale bag with a blue strap rests on a garden hedge.
Model in light blue with a dark wide-brim hat stands in profile against a pale sky.

About the project

The original commission came through an agency now known as LMNOP, with full creative freedom granted by both the agency and the Hester van Eeghen company itself.

It was the first time Michiel was able to properly explore the fashion side of his work, made together with stylist Maartje van den Broek. The colourful, graphic result has run widely: in print across several books, on social media, and in-store.
