Loop Earplugs - Eclipse
Loop Earplugs campaign photography introduces Eclipse, a new sleep mask built to block out light and noise wherever sleep needs to happen.
Shot in Amsterdam on the set of Loop's new commercial, the stills follow Eclipse from a bedside table to a child's afternoon nap to an airplane cabin, holding the same warm, low light across every setting.
About the project
Loop Earplugs brought Michiel Spijkers onto the set of its new commercial in Amsterdam to shoot campaign stills for Eclipse, its new sleep mask, moving in between takes to catch the same sets and the same light the cameras were already using.
The stills move across every place sleep actually happens: a bedside table, a child's afternoon nap, an airplane seat at golden hour. Eclipse appears in navy and teal, but the mask itself carries the whole idea, there are no other props or styling beyond it. Light stays warm and low throughout, giving each setting a settled, almost private feeling regardless of where or when the picture was taken.
Steven de Kok worked alongside Michiel on lighting for the shoot. The resulting seventeen stills, edited by Michiel himself, now run across Loop's social and paid media channels.
